Qulu to NX Witness Time License Expiring

Through our reseller we have successfully transferred our licences over to Nx Witness and deactivated our Qulu licences as per instructions.

 

However this transferred license is now a timed License as is set to expire in 10 days time. 

 

From what I've been told it can take up to 30 days for the license to become permanent. 

 

That being said what will happen once our license expires in 10 days if the license has not yet become permanent?

 

Will this mean that all recording will stop in the meantime? and if so this is unacceptable.

 

Really struggled to find much info on this and I've not been able to contact anyone who knows the answer. Nobody seems to know much of anything about the whole transfer process. 

 

Any help with this would greatly appreciated.

  Please reach out to your reseller for such questions since we do not have a role or influence on this process. 

  Regarding your concerns; yes, if the timed licenses void, the system will stop recording. 
  That being said, ask you reseller for some additional time licenses, and they should be able to provide you as many as required for the required period of time. The mentioned 30 days seems to me to be very cautious, with the information available to me it should be a couple of days maximum and that mainly due to timezone differences, therefore time licenses are provided by our resellers. 

  HERE one of our support articles that exactly describes the process of preserving data when changing the hardware, software etc. Anything that influences the licenses or the data.
