Upgrade to 4.1 automatic?

Is the upgrade to 4.1 automatic? 

It keeps saying that it's up to date, or must I manually update.

  Hi Calypso,

  When we release a new version, we do it silently, meaning that we update the latest available release on my.networkoptix.com and nxvms.com. 
  
  After a while we start make the new release discoverable for the existing installations and a window appears that there is a new version available and you can choose to accept or decline the update. Let's call it semi-automatic since it requires confirmation of the user.
