New iOS app crashing after a few minutes streaming

I've got an iPad running the recently updated new app, that contains the new branding, it reports as version:

20.2.3169 (rev ae38f4f43172)

However on an iPad (6th Gen) that has run the older versions of this app for a few years without issue, it now crashes the latest app consistently after launching the app and playing a stream for a minute or so. So far I've tried:

• Confirming I'm running the latest iOS (13.6)
• Reinstalling the Nx app
• Rebooting the iPad

Anything else I can try? No other issues found on the iPad to say it might be related to the hardware i.e. not other streaming video apps have any problems.
