Ubiquiti G3 Pro integration?
AnsweredIs there a way to directly integrate a Ubiquiti Unifi G3 Pro camera into NX? A friend is doing a few hundred by running Unifi Video SW, and then taking the stream.

Hi luke richmond,
I don't have a lot of experience with the Ubiquiti cameras, but as far as I know they aren't Onvif compliant and the only way to add them into Nx Witness is by manually adding them as an RTSP stream and for a few hundred, that is pretty labour-intensive.
You could try to build a script for to add them automatically with the /api/manualCamera/add.

In Protect go to Unifi Devices > [camera] > Settings > Advanced and enable the desired stream resolution. Protect will present you with an RTSPS url to copy. To convert the RTSPS url to the available RTSP url: 1)Change the protocol from "rtsps" to "rtsp" 2)Change the port from "7441" to "7447" 3)Delete the "?" and everything that follows.
e.g.
- From: rtsps://192.168.1.2:7441/irwurnfayer?enableSrtp
- To: rtsp://192.168.1.2:7447/irwurnfayer

Rhys - you are a legend!! I have spent an hour playing with a Unifi G5 camera, using the rtsps stream, trying to obtain the image (got it enrolled, but no image). Thank you for your info- works perfectly! Now 38 more to enrol
