    Hi Luke,

We made camera's web GUI accessible because it's made by the camera manufacturers, and there are often custom features we don't support in or GUI.

However, the servers GUI is made by us, so we can just move all the functions from it to the desktop client interface. Will it work for you or you need to use servers web GUI for some other reason? If yes, which features you want to be moved?

Also, we plan to make more features from webadmin available in Cloud Portal, so that's one more way to access them from the outside. But the questions remains the same: what specific features of webadmin do you use?

@... - Being able to restart the server, pull up logs, see the advanced stream information for each camera, and the newer stuff in the Information section: this is much easier to get a quick overview of multiple servers, network and storage bandwidth, specific links for camera streams

@... - For me, unless there is 100% feature partity between web and client, then having the option to pull up the webadmin would be very handy.  For small, locally managed systems this isn't that big of an issue.  But as we continue to grow our usage of Nx, we'll have 15-20 servers in different countries all merged together.  The new web GUI for camera's is a HUGE time saver, so more important than server access.  But if it's possible to use the same process to pull up the server's web GUI, that would be great.

Adding more features into the client is preferred, but again, if the ability is there, why not add it in?

Luke, did you try using Cloud Portal to access the system?

Information and camera view are accessible there.

    HI Luke McFadden,

Not the solution to your question, but did you know you can use the Nx Cloud proxy to access the Nx WebAdmin client?

Use the following URL in your browser:

    https://<cloud-id>.relay.vmsproxy.com/

And you will be prompted to the login screen of the Nx WebAdmin over our proxy servers.

How can you locate the Cloud System ID?

    1. Open your browser and navigate to the Nx Cloud Portal (http://nxvms.com)
    2. Login to your Nx Cloud Account.
    3. You will see the portal and the system tiles on your screen.
    4. Click on the System that you want the Cloud System ID of.
    5. The Cloud System ID is found in the URL and appended to “systems/”
      Example: https://nxvms.com/systems/3770508e-569a-423b-a61a-a85abb0ffff2
The Cloud System ID is : 3770508e-569a-423b-a61a-a85abb0ffff2
