    Hi Florian,

Could clarify your case a bit more precise?

In general, since the connection runs through a proxy it takes a moment to display the stream, but as soon as it streams, it streams smoothly.

It might help to use another browser. It tends that Firefox is a bit faster than Chrome for instance.

Here an example of a short clip in Firefox made from our server in the US, connected via my home in the Netherlands.

I have a system with 4 servers and all servers a merged via the cloud.

i'm not looking via web browser. I'm looking via the desktop client with a cloud account.

my problem is that the pictures don't run smoothly.

my question is whether there is a possibility to make settings to get a better stream?

    Hi Florian,

Can you add me to the system as a cloud user (EMAIL-REMOVED) with admin level user rights for further investigations?

    Hi Florian Lauer,

I checked your system and allowed a colleague to confirm my thoughts.

The cloud connection does what it supposed to do. The connection to the system is quite okay.
But I also noticed that loading of the cameras takes some time (~5 to 10 secs).

Part of the experience is the proxy connection that 2 of the servers seem to pick each time, instead of NAT.  Proxy connections are by nature slower than NAT connection, which on their turn are slower than forwarded connection, which are slower than local connections.

But moreover the cameras seem to struggle to provide a solid stream. I noticed that the framerate is jumping from 0 to 18/25 fps for quite a few cameras.

When I checked the log, it is full (hundreds) of the following events:

    Event Description
Network Issue Reason: RTP packet loss detected.
Network Issue Reason: No data received during last 10 seconds.
Network Issue Reason: Connection to camera (primary stream) was unexpectedly closed.
Network Issue Reason: Connection to camera (secondary stream) was unexpectedly closed.

For me this is an indication that the cameras struggle to provide the streams the server requests.
Please check THIS support article to resolve this issue.

I also noticed that the secondary stream was increased from the default 7 fps to 18 fps. This serves no purpose and I would recommend to set is back to the default 7 fps.

Besides that I expect that there is newer firmware for the cameras should be available since these are OEM cameras of a big Chinese manufacturer. Newer firmware could improve the performance as well, your supplier should be able to confirm that.
