    Hello Aqua,

Could you please elaborate a bit about render the object bounding boxes and ROI? What is the expected result? What are trying to achieve?

It this something similar to what we have discussed here ?

    Hi @...,

I was just wondering if you managed to resolve the issue, or our support is still required?

    Hi,

I mean, can I show the ROI and bounding box on the analytics event  or  shapshot?

So far, it only could show on the "Objects" window.

    Hello Aqua,

ROI is just a setting sent to a plugin from Nx Desktop. This setting can be displayed on video in Nx Desktop but it's just a visual effect. It does not influence any metadata and is not written to the DB.

Here is an idea for achieving your objective.

You could reserve a special object type titled roiObject, for example, and generate objects of this type. Since your plugin can receive ROI setting values from Nx Desktop, you can assign a bounding box corresponding to these setting values to that roiObject-type object. You can send any parameters along to the bounding box, as well. These roiObject-type objects will be saved by the Server to the database and will be displayed even when are played from the archive.
