Jovision H.265 ONVIF camera detected automatically, yet defaults to H.264 codec.

 

In camera settings there is no option to select H.265 codec in the Primary or Secondary video stream configuration.  (Camera Settings > Advanced > Video Streams Configuration)

 

When setting the camera up as GENERIC_RTSP the "Advanced" tab is not available to validate the codec used.

  Does the camera show H.265 in the Onvif Device Manager? 
  We notice that many cameras have their own variant of H.265 which causes issues when connecting them as h.265 in third party applications with H.265. 

  The settings in the advanced settings are for non-natively integrated cameras retrieved through the Onvif API, so it is most likely a camera issue in this case.
