    Hi @... and Fredrik Ahlsen

    The following statement was made:

    >>> that an additional IP license for each POS terminal plus a second camera license.

As far as we know, there is no second camera licence required.

To record a single camera a single Professional licence is needed.
To record a single source of C2P a single Professional licence is needed to enable the option of looking back in the archive based on the data.  There is no need to add an extra licence for the camera source.

We will provide a change so you can use an encoder licence for the C2P part, meaning you can use 4 C2P sources with a single encoder licence. This change will be included in a patch for version 4.1 at the latest, until then regular Professional licences apply.

I agree, encoder licenses for C2P would be very helpful in some situations.

In C2P you can set up Virtual cameras, so in some setups it can end up with multiple video channels going in to Nx.

Here is one example with 3 virtual cameras:

So if it was counted as an encoder, it would be nice for some projects.

    @... and Fredrik Ahlsen,

In the near future we will offer encoder licences for the C2P resources.

    Hi @...,

From v4.1.0.31398 or newer you can use an encoder license for the C2P resources, instead of the professional licenses.
