Edge Recordings pushed to central server
AnsweredHello,
I am not sure if this is a feature request or if it is something that can already be done in the current versions of the system.
In a scenario where I have 10 Servers based on Raspberry Pi with 2TB each for local recording of 5 cameras and I also have a central Server with a 50TB storage, can these servers push the recordings back to the central server in real-time or by schedule?
I know we have the option to setup backups of local recordings to a separate storage like a NAS, however in this case I would like to select the central server as a Backup target instead of a NAS folder.
is this already possible or is it something that could be feasible to be developed?

Hi Miguel,
You can set up Samba on the central server and with this you can use the central server for storage.
I'm not certain if 10 RPI with 5 camers each is the right solution since the bandwidth is very limited on the RPI due to shared resources.
