How to get RTSP Stream on Nx Server

Hey,

I can't seem to get an RTSP connection from any of my servers. I'm trying to get the RTSP stream of some of the cameras in the Nx Server. So I can stream them to a 3rd party system.

I've tested all types of codecs and streams as described in the documentation.

I've tried connecting the RTSP URL to VLC, to another Nx Server, through the browser and nothing worked except to this URL which worked through the browser:

Did it use to work? How can I get the RTSP streams of cameras from the Nx Server and connect to 3rd party systems / VLC player?

Environment

Nx Witness 4.0.0.29987
Client: Windows 10 Pro
Server: Windows 10 Pro
Network Topology: PoE Switch with 12 cameras and a Windows 10 Pro PC. 7001 is the only opened port to the world.

    1. Camera Vendor/model and codec

    2. VLC and Nx server log: You may be able to find them by below instructions:
    - VLC log: Tools > Messages 
    - Server log: https://support.networkoptix.com/hc/en-us/articles/115011223427-Finding-the-Server-Log

    Hey.

    1. Hikvision DS-2DE4A320IW-DE (PTZ) and Hikvision DS-2CD2342WD-I (Turret) - both are using H.264 connecting to Nx through ONVIF.

    2. I removed the IP from the logs

    Yes, I'd like to share remote access for the server. Is it possible to schedule it? Where should I send the remote access details?

    Hi Omer,

    After checking your server, we notice that the option "Encrypt Video traffic" (The option could be found from the System Administration > General tab) is enabled in your server. VLC is not expected to play the encrypted stream.

    I have disabled it temporary and confirmed transcode stream is able to play now.

    I also encountered the same problem
    RTSP can enter the account number and password of the server
    but there is a validation error
    Make sure "Encrypt Video traffic" is not enabled" (The option could be found from the System Administration > General tab)
    Can you please help me remotely?
