I wondered if it is possible to activate an Raytec PoE based light on a analytic event? The light i want to activate is a Raytec VAR2-POE-w4-1.

  Hi Vincent,

  I briefly checked the manual and it seems that they allow HTTP controls, but their API isn't available on the website, so I have requested it from them for further investigation.

  If the device can support HTTP commands it can work as your wish.(Please checks the device can support or not)

  In the rules, Nx action can set Do Http request to send the command to the device.

  Hi Vincent,

  I got the feedback from Raytec and their API is very clear. You should be able to control the lighting with a Do HTTP request in our rules engine. Be sure to enable the HTTP/HTTP+ feature in the lighting first. 

  The API documentation can be requested from your supplier or directly from Raytec.
