Embed live updates in streams

I have a client, we installed 11 cameras in outdoor softball park we are live streaming them to the client's website from Spectrum. They want to inject the text from the scoreboards into the live stream. Has anyone done this yet?

  This is probably doable but strongly depends on the capabilities of the scoreboard. It would require an application that embedded the score into the RTSP stream, the RTSP stream can be added to our software, but if you want to stream live stream (Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, etc) it would require an RTMP stream and not every security network camera has the option to offer RTMP. 

  You could use a 3rd party application to live stream the cameras to the platform of your choice. I wrote an instruction for OBS Studio. You can find these instructions at https://my.networkoptix.com/#/integrations and look for 'Live-streaming from Nx Witness through OBS Studio'. 

  The best practice is probably to live stream from the server to your platform of choice since otherwise, the additional load is on the camera and not every camera has sufficient resources to do this.
