Recording without transcoding

Are the streams from the cameras stored and can be exported in the same format as they were coming to system (without transcoding before recording) ?

  Hi Michal,

  The camera streams are multiplexed into the *.mkv container format. 

  As for export, the transcoding applies once you apply filters during export

  What and why is it that you want to achieve?
