We are interested whether it is possible to control the broadcasted stream from NX Witness when playback (playback forward, playback backwards, pause, faster, slower). Just like in the NX Client but via our own control link. We want to receive this stream by a viewer (e.g. ffplay/vlc or dedicated). We have looked at the System / Server and Video API’s but these do not seem sufficient. We are curious if Network Optix can offer a solution for this.

  Hi Reinier,

  You can playback forward, but you cannot rewind.  

  All video data contains Unix Epoch timestamps and therefore could you create something to jump back 1 hour/minute/sec. etc. but the playback will go forward just like you could on Youtube, where you can jump back and forward 10 secs.
