Device discovery on the RaspberryPi

This week I started exploring the NetworkOptix meta-VMS HTTP APIs, and connecting our client software to a RaspberryPi meta-VMS server. I like the user experience so far, and I made good progress thanks to the documentation, however we have a few questions about the server's device discovery.

 

I managed to view the live feed of a DS-2CD2155FWD-I camera with the OSX meta-NX client, and that worked fine. However, we have another 4 DS-2CD2155FWD-I models running on the same network, but they are not visible from the client.

 

Our network setup consist of 30-40 Hikvision cameras (see the list below that contains the model names that are connected to that network), but only a few of them are visible in the meta-NX client. Also, the meta-NX client discovers some unidentified devices that belong to the "_workstation._tcp." service type. They are called "IPDxxxx". Is there a known discovery limitation of the RaspberryPi meta-Nx server, or the trial version that could lead to such results?
