My HikVision camera’s support 3 streams simultaniously, which I would like to be used in the following way:

1. 4K @ 20 FPS H265: Recording when motion detected
2. 720p @ 15 FPS H265: Recording when no motion is detected
3. 640x380 @ 8 FPS H264: Motion detection

Is this possible?

  Hi Martijn,

  You can record 2 streams simultaneously as a maximum. 

  1. The primary stream which virtually doesn't have any limitation in framerate and resolution. 
  2. The secondary stream which is limited to 7 fps and a resolution of 1024x768. 

  When you schedule the camera's to Motion + Lo-Res it can record:

  1. 4K @ 20 fps when motion was detected
  2. 1024x768 @ 7 fps when no motion was detected

  Ideally I would be able to record as mentioned above. So let this be a feature request.

  While the idea is understood, it will be difficult for us to implement in the close future. 

  I guess for now(short term) you can use workarounds: record generic RTSP based on events. ( not same level of the user experience of cause..)
