Freely Placeable Soft Triggers
AnsweredI'd like to be able to freely place my soft trigger buttons anywhere on a camera image and would like soft triggers be able to load another camera view or layout.
The idea being I could "walk" through my building cameras by clicking from soft trigger to soft trigger.

Hi Kieran,
In one of our future releases, you will be able to choose a layout-as-an-action and that action can be a soft trigger.
At this stage, you cannot position the soft trigger freely in the camera tile. In a future release, likely 4.1, you will be able to create a tile with soft triggers which you can position freely on the grid.

"Layout as an Action" along with grid placeable soft triggers will be very helpful for our use case as well.

Hi Lee,
In version 4.0 Lay-out-as-Action will be available.
A preview can be seen via the following LINK.

Freely Placeable Soft Triggers likely coming in 4.2

Great Sergey,
This is what I am waiting for, the "Freely Placeable Soft Triggers".
Already working on a project where previous Milestone was ousted, but want to impress the customer with nice 3D maps, which have to have freely placeable soft triggers to link various map levels of the site.
When is 4.2 coming out?
Alternatively, or additionally, it would be nice to be able to place "hot buttons" or "soft trigger points" on a web page (since you can already call a web page URL). So, I intend to design three web pages for three different levels of the large site, where I can place the camera icons to call up images, but need to be able to navigate between pages, like on a web site.
Thanks.

I hope all is well.
Unfortunately, version 4.2 will be an in between version and 4.3 will be the version that includes the features of 4.2.
I'm sorry to tell you, but the soft triggers are postponed in favor of other features until further notice.
To create soft trigger panels, the most easy way would be Node-RED with a custom dashboard with buttons, like THIS video shows.
