Have just done an install using Avigilon H4 Analytic Cameras.

Would be great if these analytics could be incorporated into NX - Tried a camera on NX and can only get video....

  Hi Tim,

  Can't you set up an HTTP event within the Avigilon cameras? In this way, you can receive the analytics events as a 'Generic event' in Nx Witness. 

  The amount of Avigilon cameras connected to Nx Witness systems (0.61% in 2017) isn't that much which makes it hard to justify the labor and support that comes with a native integration.

  Hi Norman

  Are any of the currently supported Analytic cameras (Axis Hanwha or Hik)  able to do vehicle or person detection in a scene? I am in need of something that can generate events on the basis of a vehicle or person entering a scene. The reason for bringing up the Avigilon Cameras is that they do it out of the box and I am yet to find anything else on the market that is able to do this.

  Hi Tim,

  I think your best options currently are Hanwha and/or VCA Technology

  Vehicle or person detection should not be an issue (object detection). Size discrimination (is it a vehicle or a person?) should be possible as far as I know, but the best thing is to reach out to Hanwha and/or VCA Technology to be sure if their solution is appropriate for your situation.
