Multiple Systems on one cloud account
CompletedHas anybody had any luck getting multiple systems on the one cloud account? From an installer point of view it is handy to retain Cloud access to customers systems for diagnostics etc

Hi Harry
Yes we have started doing this, setup up one account login as a "master" and enroll all your sites. We already have 2 customers with multiple server setups across different buildings and in different locations. Works well so far!

Hey Harry - you can have unlimited number of Systems connected to one account. Just have to either connect the System to Cloud yourself (and you will become the System owner) or have the customer connect the System using their email address, then share access with you using your email address.
Simple as that. Have a lot of users with multiple systems.

Good to hear. Let us know if you have any issues or idea for improvement.

Thanks guys, looks like it was just a firewall issue on that site preventing it from sending out the cloud data. Works perfectly now

Hi Harry,
What ports did you open? Or was it a UPNP issue?

We think it was blocking outgoing connections, its on a overseas managed network so we requested 80, 443, 3345 be opened for the servers addresses and that did the trick.

Hey Harry - our support guys do like to take a look in situations where Cloud is being blocked so that we can resolve the issue and add the new resolution method to the next release. So if you run into any more "blocked" situations please do make sure to let our guys have a look. They love solving this type of issue as it improves the product for everyone!

Yes we have multiple systems in our cloud account, even ones that we are not the "owner" of.

It would be great if there were options to allow an integrator to limit what type of access is given. For example to restrict password change or a limited account that can not remove the system from the cloud account. It would also be good to have a user level that can see all settings for cameras and system and server but not make changes.

Hi Aaron,
Besides the existing user roles, you can create custom user roles to limit the number of cameras and layout, as well as functionality per user or user group.
