Video Analytics Plugins at failover scenario

Hi All,

We are planning to use 100 pcs video analytics via nx plugin at 5 pcs nx witness vms server.

We installed video analytics plugins to all these 5 nx vms server then enabled plugins with related cameras.

For example, one nx vms server is failed, then nx witness failover scenario is worked automatically , 4 pcs nx vms server will get additional cameras came from failed nx server. These 100 video analytics will be continued work without any manual setup after failover? If yes, who is responsible for this automation? (nx witness, video analytics manufacturer or both)

  Hi Volkan Aydin,

  Failover doesn't affect the Event rules, including the plugins used, and should continue to work after the cameras failover to any other Mediaserver instance. 

  For the responsibility; it depends on the plugin; the one who made it, is also responsible for the support on the plugin. This could Network Optix, the Vendor or a 3rd party developer.
