    Hi Satomu Shirai,

During the device discovery process, the minimum and maximum bandwidth values are typically provided by the device. However, these values should be considered as guidelines rather than fixed limits—especially when using codecs such as H.264 or H.265, which are more variable in nature compared to the more predictable MJPEG.

When you configure a specific bandwidth value, the system will request that value from the camera, and the expectation is that the camera will deliver a stream as close to that setting as possible. That said, actual bandwidth usage can vary. For instance, if there is little to no motion, the camera may use significantly less bandwidth. Conversely, the camera may use more bandwidth than specified—particularly if the selected value is lower than what it would typically use under a 'Low' quality setting.

It’s also important to note that an I-frame can be as compact as the resolution allows, and P-frames can vary in size depending on how much the image changes from frame to frame.
