Regarding the Video Wall Functionality
CompletedHello,
I’m currently using Nx Witness and had a question regarding the Video Wall functionality.
If I configure a client PC equipped with a discrete (external) GPU and connect two external monitors to it, then assign each monitor as a separate Video Wall screen, would it be possible to display a total of 128 camera channels on that client — 64 channels per monitor?
I understand that normally a single monitor can display up to 64 channels. But if the client has two monitors, each defined as a separate Video Wall screen, does that allow for effectively doubling the number of displayed channels (i.e., 64 + 64 = 128 channels total)?
Thanks in advance for your clarification!

Hi MUSEUNG KIM,
Yes, by default, each client can display up to 64 devices, and each Video Wall instance is treated the same as a client in this regard.
That said, I would recommend considering the practicality of this setup. Monitoring 64 small tiles on a single screen can make it quite challenging to maintain situational awareness, and doubling that to 128 tiles across two instances likely won’t improve the experience.
