About encryption of communications between Nx Witness server and client
CompletedHi, I have a question about encryption of communications.
I've just seen the article below:
What codecs are currently supported by the Nx Witness media server and client?
Are there any other protocols for communication between the server and the client other than those mentioned in the article above?
I think that the protocols mentioned in the article are just related with just only live streaming. Is that wrong?
I am concerned about whether the password I enter when logging in to the server is transmitted in an encrypted state.

Hi Masashi Katsuta,
The protocol mentioned under Live Camera Streams are the incoming streams, which are typically live.
The protocols mentioned under Streaming from * are outgoing streams, which can be live (restream) and playback. The VMS passwords are encrypted indeed. Obviously, I would say.
See the following Support Article:
With kind regards.
