Record to 4TB surveillance drive in USB3 case

I'm currently running NX Witness on a mini PC that doesn't have room for a 3.5" HDD, and now want to record instead of just viewing. Is it possible to record directly to a 4tb surveillance drive in a USB3 case connected to the mini PC?

  Hi Ash Ellis,

  You can use an external USB storage drive for the archive; however, it is not supported for the analytics database. Generally, USB storage is only suited for smaller systems with limited throughput and IOPS.

  For a production system, we typically wouldn’t recommend this setup.
