Is it possible to change the resolution of AXISQ camera on VMS?
CompletedI changed the camera resolution on VMS, but it is not applied.
There are two ways to change the resolution that I know of.
The first method is to open the camera's web settings screen, change the resolution from the stream settings, and restart the camera.
The second method is to open the web settings screen, change the resolution from the stream settings, and momentarily stop recording and then restart it.
Please let me know if there is a way to change/adapt the resolution without stopping the camera recording or restarting it.
The camera I'm using is AXIS Q6225-LE.
The Nx version is NxWitness Server 5.1.4.38659.

Hi 藤野竜也,
The methods you mentioned only adjust the resolution for the device’s web interface, so they won’t affect the video management system (VMS).
In the VMS, resolution is controlled through profiles—one for the Primary stream and one for the Secondary stream. To change the resolution, follow these steps:
- Open the Camera Settings menu.
- Navigate to the Advanced tab.
- Select the desired stream (Primary or Secondary).
- Adjust the resolution as needed.
- Click Apply to save the changes.
Please note! We do not recommend modifying the resolution or frame rate for the Secondary stream, as it may impact performance.
Let me know if you need any further assistance!
Best regards.
