    Hi Calvin Wientjes,

Could you confirm if you are using the Intel build instead of the Apple Silicon build? While the Intel client will run, it may lead to some issues on Apple Silicon devices.

Additionally, we've implemented some improvements in version 6.0.1.40074. You can update the client using the following in-client update credentials:

    In-Client Upgrade:

    • Build Number: 40074
    • Password: pqb560

Please note that this update is for the client only and will not affect the servers.

    Best regards.

Im not sure how to know if I have the intel or Silicon build. I am aware that I have the silicon chip and have for the last 5 years. When presented with the option at download I would have chosen silicon.

Does the attached photo indicate the correct version for Silicon chips?

I tried updating to that build and got this error.

    Hi Calvin Wientjes,

Thank you for sharing the image—it confirms that you’re using the version for Apple Silicon (macosx-arm64).

Could you please try using the 6.0.1.40221 build instead?

    In-Client Upgrade:

    • Build Number: 40221
    • Password: 1wf9ci

If the issue persists, could you kindly provide the OS and version being used on the server? This will help us investigate further.

    Looking forward to your update!

    Best regards.

I performed the upgrade to 40221 for the Mac OS client device having this issue.  The issue remains. The OS for the different servers Im attempting to use are all on a Windows 11 device. Their versions vary as we are an integration company with many client systems needing accessing. The clients are not all updated on the same schedule.  Here are the lists of the server versions that require the client device (M3 MacBook Air) to restart to a different version. It just closes the current version window and never reopens.

5.1.2.37996, 5.1.4.38659, 5.1.1.37512, 5.0.0.35270, 5.1.0.37133, 5.0.0.35270.  It doesn't matter which server I'm attempting to access. If the client needs to restart in compatibility mode it just quits the current window and never reopens. Restarting the MacBook Air still resolves it for the first use and maybe a few subsequent times but it then reverts back to the described behavior until the MacBook is restarted again.
