Hi,

i would like to display more sophisticated overlays thru my analytics plugins (acting as a proxy for a remote analytics server) ie polylines, polygons, additional texts

Could you tell me if its possible using the metadata_sdk ?

  Hi Ichiro ,

  To make it simple we have more that just labelled BBoxes in our overlay output.

  For instance, the user may choose to display the camera calibration (lines in the ground plane spaced by 1 meter), track history of an object (polyline attached to a box - the last N seconds), text giving the status of the analytics (which rules are currently active, learning/active/suspended mode, ...), status of the cpu/memory, masking regions, statistics, monitoring data, ...

  Here is a sample among a use case

  

   

  For instance, in the following screenshot, we use a translucent ROI on the lanes that are currently occupied

  

   

  This kind of display is usually requested by our customers as an instant (Live) help of the state of their context.
