    Hi chris gill,

    Currently, it's not possible to set up this rule directly within the VMS. However, third-party applications like Uptime Kuma or Nagios do offer these options.

    A brief network glitch is generally not a problem; the server will simply retry its requests a few times. If the camera doesn't respond in time (before the next frame), Nx Witness will flag a network issue if it fails to receive the RTP packet after several attempts. The number of retries can vary depending on the camera brand or model. A network issue, showing the camera as offline, occurs when no packets are sent or received for at least 10 seconds.
