    Hi Calypso,

I hope you’re doing well! I noticed that this topic hasn’t received any engagement from the community yet, and I wanted to check in with you. Is the issue you mentioned still relevant or something you’re looking to resolve?

    Best regards.

    Hello Norman

I didnt come right. Ive asked the license vendor to assist with moving the licenses to the Windows Server as it appears to be more stable than the Ubuntu CLI one. WIll make another Ubuntu server when I have a chance.

    Thank you

    Hi Calypso,

I don’t want to spark a debate about the best operating system, but I can share that my Ubuntu servers have been running flawlessly since at least August 2019 and September 2019, and likely even longer.

If I were to make an educated guess, it seems that Unraid might be related to the issue you’re experiencing. What I’d recommend is logging into the Ubuntu VM, upgrading it to at least version 20.04 (or the newer versions like 22.04 LTS or for 6.0.1, 24.04 LTS), and then downloading and reinstalling the server package for Ubuntu. This approach will not only update your system but also bypass any potential conflicts related to Unraid.

That said, if you’re satisfied with Windows, feel free to make the switch! THIS article provides step-by-step instructions on how to preserve your data during the transition.
