Hello, I am a developer of Uniview and I have a few questions to ask:

What is the license occupancy strategy for multi-channel cameras? In our testing, we found that our IPC3224 is a dual channel camera that occupies two licenses;

  Hi Uniview SDK support team,

  There is no special strategy for a multi-channel camera, in general, if you have N channels on a camera, then you would need N channel licenses to enable the record on all channel. 

  i.e The license strategy is quite straightforward, if you want to record N channel, then you need to have at least N channel license. Same as you have 16 channel NVR, then you need 16 channels for it. 

  However, there are some cameras has been configured or integrated with Nx Witness, which it is possible to use one channel license for a multi-sensor camera, but it is only per sales-requests and sales driven case.

  If you have any request on this, it is suggested you can summarize the request and list, then raise the request from Uniview sales team to our sales/presales team, this would help the request is solid in track.
