Adding UNV NVR to nx witness server

hello,

we have a client with multiple NVR, and he needs to add them all to nx witness.

how to add NVR (hikvision and UNV) to NX witness server

  Hi Mohamad Khaled,

  Typically, NVRs of the mentioned brands are automatically discovered if they are in the same subnet as the mediaserver, however if they are in a different subnet, they can be added manually as well.

  As a reference, the two applicable sections of the in-client manual:

  • Automatic Device Discovery
  • Adding Devices Manually

  Note: the stream will be added and recorded on the Nx Mediaserver, and you cannot access data recorded in the NVRs.
