Dahua Pentabrid
CompletedGood afternoon
We are trying to add Two Dahua X82B3A recorders to DW.
Recorder 1 has 11 Hybrid-Analog cameras (CH1 - CH11) and 12 IP cameras (CH17 - CH28).
When adding, it adds Ch 1 to Ch 23 only. It is incorrectly adding Ch12-Ch16 analog channels without feed, and missing CH24-Ch28.
I would like to keep the CH12-CH16 available for Hybrid cameras in the future so we need the system to find up to Ch28 please.
ODM shows only the channels with video, and shows up to Ch28.
I checked and I can add the RTSP stream for Ch24-CH28 so its just the counting/sequence that is wrong.
The second recorder has less cameras but is the same model etc.
Please can you assist? I believe this will need Norman to provide the JSON as done before.
As always, thank you guys for awesome support.

Hi SD,
Sorry for the delay, but the workload didn't allow an earlier response.
I checked our resource_data.json file and the X82B3A is already listed as an encoder device, and for quite some time already. So you should be able to apply an encoder license for 4 device channels.
Also, typically, the VMS doesn't care if you add analog or IP cameras to the DVR.
Can you provide remote access through port forwarding to the device so we can investigate the behavior of the device in our test environment? If so, I'll transfer this topic, into a support ticket so you can share the credentials privately, and we also can involve developers of the integration team.

Thanks Norman,
The issue isn't the licensing, its the way the system brings in "23 cameras" as Ch1 - Ch 22 rather than Ch 1 - 11 and then Ch 17 - 28.
I can certainly setup port forwarding etc. - I will look for the support ticket from you.
Cheers!

Hi SD,
I created the support ticket on your behalf. Please, share the login credentials like public IP address, HTTP port + RTSP port, username, and password in the ticket for further investigations, and I or some of the others will investigate the issue.
