User only allowed to access the playback of the last hour of footage

Hi everyone,

I'm working with a client who needs a limited user profile in Nx Witness. This profile should only allow them to:

• View live camera feeds
• Playback footage for the past hour

Essentially, we want to restrict the user's ability from:

• Extracting footage older than one hour
• View footage older than one hour

It's important to note that this limitation only applies to user visibility. Recordings will still be retained for the desired period (approximately 30 days).

Could anyone advise on how to achieve this user profile setup in Nx Witness?

  Hi Baxter Hellyer,

  Unfortunately, Nx Witness does not support restricting user access to only the last hour (or any specific time period) of footage.

  The current user and group settings allow only for granting or denying access to the entire video archive.
