Sound issue
CompletedHi there!
More then two years ago I have described a problem of the sound disappearing in the Nx client, when we are changing the audio devices - from speakers to headphones and back. Only the Client rebooting could cure this issue. Norman have answered, that it is a Windows problem but - how this issue does not appear in <other_brands> and a lot of other surveillance systems? Please, don't avoid the overcoming of this bug - for any user it is a big problem to reboot the Client during a serious analytical work.
Thanks a lot!

We understand that it might be annoying for the operator, but we need to consider the bigger picture when planning release scope. Our product team prioritizes issues very thoroughly based on a potential market growth for Nx and the sad truth is - we have 1000+ tasks in our backlog, and we can't release or fix them all at once.

But, question has almost three years old! And this problem might be moved from 999 number to 99 or 9... As for "might be annoying for the operator" - I have a "hot" annoyance: in two Georgian casinos there are 870 Nx channels, and everyday work brings 3-5 or more Client rebooting per day for every of 11 workstations - you call it normal... To "consider the bigger picture" with such a bug ignoring - seems not a fundamental approach, excuse me...

Hi Victor Kravchuk,
Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your concerns with us. We understand your frustration and appreciate the opportunity to address your points.
Firstly, we want to clarify that we do not handle bug reports and feature improvements purely based on numerical order, but rather prioritize them based on the overall impact they have on the majority of our customers. Each issue is carefully evaluated, and we understand that this specific request is causing significant inconvenience for you and the casino operators.
We want to assure you that we have never considered frequent reboots as "normal" nor have we ignored this issue. However, our prioritization process must balance the needs and impact across our entire customer base.
We completely understand if you feel the need to explore other VMS brands that can provide more immediate on-demand features and bug fixes. And we respect your decision if you choose to move in that direction.
Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards.

Hi, Norman!
The last comment. This issue is an unfortunate mistake made while writing a wonderful software product "Nx", and it may, have or must be corrected - this is obvious. The whole question is when?
