Notification emails via 0365

Has anyone got notification emails working via O365 either normal mailbox or shared? I have configured it but all I get is a connection timeout. There are very few settings that can be configured from what I can see. Any help will be appreciated.

  Hi Alex Rider,

  Did you enable and use an App password? 

  Also, leave the User field empty.
