Integrating Remote Servers and Monitoring Data Consumption Over 4G
AnsweredHello,
I have a main site that encompasses two servers, 10.0.1.101 and 10.0.1.102, as well as four other remote servers (connected via 4G) with IP addresses 10.16.1.1, 10.16.13.1, etc., which were not yet routed. Now that I have successfully routed them, I would like to integrate these remote servers into the main server. Could you guide me on how to achieve this?
Additionally, I am interested in understanding the data consumption (in KB/day) in terms of SNMP traffic or other types, considering these servers are connected over a 4G network. What would be the best way to monitor and manage this consumption efficiently?
Thank you for your assistance.

Hi HILAIRE David [EIFFAGE ENERGIE SYSTEMES],
If the server can communicate with the cameras, you can manually add these devices to the server by following the steps mentioned in the in-client manual and more specific; THIS chapter.
For monitoring, it depends a bit on what you want to achieve. The most complete monitoring solution would be something like the Smart Cloud Monitor which is offered by one of our partners, or another infrastructure monitoring tools.
However, if it is temporary check to understand and extrapolate the approx. bandwidth consumption over time, a simple terminal tool like vnStat might do the job as well.0
