Allow/disallow access to client local settings for specific users
There are many options in client "local settings" which should not be available to typical users, for security reasons (but also - sorry to say that - to increase resistance to system failures caused by some user stupidity). Therefore, our strong suggestion is to add new permission: "access local settings": yes/no
As one of the many examples, we would like to block this option for users :
- Show Additional Info In Tree - if checked, it will show IP Addresses of devices in System Tree. ( https://support.networkoptix.com/hc/en-us/articles/206257948-Customizing-the-Nx-Witness-Client )
Due to security reasons, we don't want users to see addresses of IP cameras. They are hidden behind servers in a separate network and we don't want users to see their addresses.
Currently, any kind of user, even live view user, can check this local option and see addresses of IP cameras and administrator cannot prevent it.

Has there been any development on this?
I understand there is an advanced server setting to remove servers from the tree for admin users but the ability to view camera IP info remains.
