Cloud Connected System very slow on all systems

I have issues with all my systems for more then several years, that sometimes the cloud is normal / up to speed, but most of the time it is very slow to connect and look back captured video.
When i login the the cloud from the local network, it works fine, the issue is only when i connect remotely. When i connect remotely, but directly on port 7001, everything is working fine as well. So there has to be something wrong with the cloud connections.
Is this a general issue, of can in improve things to make this working better for myself and my customers?

There are just too many variables that could be the culprit.
Most common issues are, antivirus software blocking or slowing down the connection, similar issues when a firewall is in use, network issues, etc., etc.Since you state that playback of footage is also slow, I would check the antivirus first, and add Nx Witness to the list of exceptions.
