    Hi Mark Brand,

    There are just too many variables that could be the culprit.
    Most common issues are, antivirus software blocking or slowing down the connection, similar issues when a firewall is in use, network issues, etc., etc.

    Since you state that playback of footage is also slow, I would check the antivirus first, and add Nx Witness to the list of exceptions.
