I am in need of a way to tell the DW Server to stop recording at less than 5gb as it currently is. I have many units that I have had to keep back at version 2.2. because I can back door into the server using https://127.0.0.1:7001/admin and tell my storage to use less. I use Qnap NAS and the NAS does not like to fill up to the last 5gb of storage even when I turn off the recycle bin. It locks up the device and crashes the DW Server.

Here are my questions:

1. Is there any way to do something similar in version 2.4? If not I would suggest a way to select how much by percentage of Hard Drive to record to. This would even allow us to use say 50% of a "C" drive.

2. I would like to see a way to select multiple motion windows so that I can select a specific window and set up a scheduled alert as to when to send a notification of movement.

3. If we can go even farther with motion windows, how about selecting a direction of movement and then being able to select notifications only when a person or movement happens in one direction. This borders into analytics but it would be cool if we could have some analytics too.

  I realize this is an old question - but those features are now part of Nx Witness. The link you provided isn't used any more. You always need to enter the credentials before you can proceed.
