It is a normal function so maybe we can add it on Nx Witness.
I think we can add an icon on the right top of a image so that we can speak to the camera while pushing the speak icon. Only while pushing the button we can speak to the camera and be quiet while releasing the button.

  I realize this is an old question - but those features are now part of Nx Witness. Check out the latest version if you haven't yet.
