Add Dahua NVR to NX

We have a Dahua NVR which is not in Local area network. NVR is in NX supported list, but we are unable to add it as a device to NX using IP and port which Dahua NVR provides - IP address port and user+password NX does not find it on the network.

How to add this NVR to Nx ?

  Hi Sander,

  Usually, when the device is outside the local network, you have the option to manually add it. This implies ensuring that the device is reachable through port forwarding, facilitating communication with the Mediaserver.

  Kindly refer to the relevant section in the in-client manual for guidance on how to manually add devices to the Mediaserver.

  For certain devices, it may be necessary to activate Onvif or to create and use a dedicated Onvif user before being able to add the device to the VMS.
