Logging user access
AnsweredAt the moment NXW has no facility to log user access, so the system owner has no record of who is accessing their system and when. Talking to my peers we see this as a major security flaw as some of our systems are in sensitive areas where only certain people in the organisation can have access these cameras. With no record of who is using the system we have no idea if the correct people are accesing the cameras and need to change passwords often. If we had the ability to audit logins our client would feel more confident in this platform.
What we would like as a feature is to be able to have a user logging in fire an event that can be then be logged with user name, time, ip address (maybe extra details on the device they are logging in from) and also be able to send an email to the admin or another elected user.

Hi Chris,
Recently we've started to receive many requests about this possibility. We assume it to be quite important within the security industry.
So research and development of logging history is already in the roadmap. Though at the moment we can't give you exact estimate of corresponding release. -
Hi @...,
I realize this is an old question - but those features are now part of Nx Witness. Check out the latest version if you haven't yet.
