Where does the Web hosted files sits on server?

Hi Team,

          I have installed mediaserver nx-witness server in my linux_host. I could see that mediaserver starts up via systemd services. I couldn't where does the web files (.html) gets hosted?
   
         And how communication between mediaserver and client happens via REST api? I couldnt find any basic source code on how server and client communicates?

  Is this web files is inside external.dat as compressed format? I could see .html files only inside that compressed file.

  Hi Sriram,

  The webAdmin is developed by Nx in our own implementation. There is no html was hosted on Nx Witness Mediaserver, there is no WEB server in Nx Witness either.

  REST API sample code can be found on the GITHUB - https://github.com/networkoptix/nx_open_integrations
  They are all in HTTPs, for more information, you would be able to find them on the knowledgebase.
