I am getting similar issues with all of my site. I was initially told it was probably a wiring issue. To test this I setup a small site at home with only 4 Hik cameras and wiring which was easily testable. The same problem occured. I just stopped the system from sending these message in the end.

    Hi Dan Warne,

Please check THIS support article for some background information about such network issues.

What typically happens when a device is unexpectedly closed, is that the camera can't keep up in the communication between mediaserver and camera, most likely due to a header buffer overflow on the camera side, but this should be confirmed with a package analysis, for example with Wireshark.

Often this issue can be reduced or eliminated, by reducing the load on the camera, by reducing the image resolution and/or frame rate and/or quality. The issue should be resolved by the camera manufacturer, often by increasing the header buffers (if that was the culprit) in the firmware of the cameras.
