    hello,

thank you for the late interest.

problem is solved, but for the community knowledge:

updating from 5.1.0 to 5.1.1 revert to default all ports setup if you don't use the default ones: rtsp ports, http ports; On the system in question the analog Hik had particular ports set up by the network admins, IP cameras too, so after update everything remote went offline. The worst is that error message is cameras unavailable, like camera is disconnected; in fact was just a stream port misconfigured

    Hi Catalin Apopei,

The issue you describe, is something that should not happen, since a VMS, like ours, but any other as well, or an NVR will create a profile at the initial connection, and will reuse the profile. Changing ports isn't something that is done from the VMS automatically. By default, it will PULL data over port 80 for HTTP, 443 for HTTPS and 554 for RTSP, unless you change this during the initial, manual, discovery. Port 554 can be changed, manually, after the devices are added. There are no API PUSH or POST requests from the VMS to any device to change the ports, you can check this with Wireshark.

However, I don't doubt what you wrote, and it would be interesting to verify what happens.
