    Hi @...,

I heard several people who used the RPI5 with success, however please note that the RPI5 isn't officially supported at the moment, only the RPI3 and RPI4.

    Hello there my friends,

I have a raspberry pi 5 this week.
I installed raspberry pi os bookworm and Nx witness client but it won't start on it.

So i installed ubuntu on it, but same sort of problem. It starts on ubuntu but...

...when i click on login to nxcloud i get the popup and the line keeps for ever moving. So i can't fill in my credentials.

I use 3 years now a raspberry pi 4 and no problems with nxwitness client and server installed on separate raspberry pi's and Raspberry pi os bullseye. I chosed bullseye instead of unbuntu cause its small and faster startup.

    And so happy with it.

Please help me to get it working on the pi 5 @norman.

    Hi Raspberry Pi 5,

Please note that the client is not supported for ARM yet, and the package is experimental.
However, to make it work, it is mandatory to use a 64-bit OS, like RPI 11 Bullseye legacy 64-bit which you can find HERE.

RPI 12 Bookworm, should be supported from v6.0 and onwards, however, for the server application only.

i understand, but the lagacy version wont start on the rasperry 5 when it it boots

at boot you see direct a message that debian 11 bullseys isnt supported at rasperry 5.

i want only client on rasperry 5.

please make it happen in future. its a great and fast device the pi5 and nx witness is great.

    Hi Raspberry Pi 5,

Noted. I don't have the RPI 5, so wasn't aware that Bookworm was mandatory.

Can you make the RPI 5 with 64-Bit bookworm accessible through TeamViewer?
If so, I'll transfer the topic into a support ticket, and I'm more than happy to see what I can do to make the client work.

    Hello my friend,

I can do that for you.
It should be tomorrow morning, but i can let it work.
(Teamviewer works only on raspberry pi 5 when you change wayland to x11 in raspi-config)
Otherwise you can't connect to Teamviewer due wayland.
I let you now, maby tonight or tomorrow in this topic if its installed.

Then i hear from you how i can give you id and pass.
    Many thanks so far.
