Any way to include an external video file into an exported .nov file?

I would like to include/merge/integrate a video feed that was external to the NX Witness server (meaning that the video file was not connected or involved with NX Witness) at time of recording. 

The use case is to provide one or more alternate views (from handheld cameras, etc.) of a certain event that can be viewed alongside the networked cameras that were interfaced to NX. This merge would be done after the event, of course. 

Viewing all of these files within the NX Witness Client would be extremely helpful.

Is there any way to be able to view video files along with my group of networked camera feeds that are exported into the .nov file?

  Hi S R,

  In such case, I would import that external video as a Virtual Camera.
  The instructions can be found in the in-client manual, and more specific in THIS chapter.

  Once the video is imported as a Virtual Camera, it also can be exported as part of an .nov file.
