VEGA ANPR camera event integration

Hi all, I saw an older message on here about integration ANPR / license plate camera's.
And the included youtube video brought a lot of information.

And indeed, the VEGA IP camera has the option to set HTTPS events. I'm testing this but I can't get this to work. Did somebody succeed in this or anybody who can provide me with some info?

  Hi Jurgen Imbrechts,

  May I know which Nx Witness version are you running now?
  Perhaps you should pay attention to that:
  1. By default, the digest authentication is turned off in Nx v5.0. Be sure that the digest authentication method is enabled for your account (See this article for the instruction).
  2. If I understand it correctly, the HTTP method you choose is HTTP POST. But you put all the attributes in the URL instead of the content.
  3. The content type should be selected as "application/json"

  Dear Wendy,

  I think you got me on the right track but I still didn't get it working.

  The VEGA camera's are very hard to work with since they don't provide a "test connection" button or logging about the connection. So I don't know where the issue is.
  But I was able to test using a browser and this is very helpfull.

  We will be using this feature in the future with systems that are able to make post calls. E.g. Webrelay devices.  Thanks for the info.
