Fix warning message
AnsweredHello.
- I installed Nx Witness software on my RPI 4b
- I enabled USB by adding string defaultRemovableDriveState=write to the file /opt/networkoptix/mediaserver/etc/mediaserver.conf
Now my USB stick become main (in use). It is perfect. But I decided to watch logs and warning message
2023-06-14 22:07:43.915 19675 WARNING QnFileStorageResource(0xffffffffa5336230, 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000): [initOrUpdate] storage directory '/boot/HD Witness Media' doesn't exist and mkdir failed
When I read manual I didn't see any information concerning folder /boot/HD Witness Media. What can I do to fix this message?
Also I do not see any activity in my USB, why? I share screenshots, maybe you give me additional suggestions.
System data, I see that camera and storage is OK

Server is online and resources enought

Camera is online too, but OFF. How to camera ON?

Also storage have no activity.

This is easy to configure system, but I need some help. What I need to do next?

Hello. Thank you for your answer.
This error is caused when I reboot my RPI with a password-protected account. In this case mounting USB flash drives is unable before first human login. I disabled the password and the message disappeared.
Now I reviewed logs and saw the next error:
2023-12-16 14:47:47.862 834 ERROR nx::network::upnp::AsyncClient(0x99f5af70): Could not parse message from //192.168.99.1:49152/upnp/control/WANIPConn1
How to solve it?

Hello Konstantin,
I tried to reproduce the issue today, but didn't have any issues with my RPI devices.
Obviously, my devices are all password protected, and external storage is auto-mounted.Can you tell us more about your system? Which version of Raspberry Pi OS are you using?
Did you already try updating to the latest version of our VMS Mediaserver application?0 -
It is very good. Maybe I have had an issue with the auto-mounting of my USB. This time I can't reproduce the bug either. I update VMS regularly and I use the latest version. Norman, now I do not have any problem with storage. Thank you for your support it is very important to me. Also, I pre-ordered RPI 5 and I will reinstall system at all and write my feedback.
